Droitwich Tennis Club

Droitwich Spa Lawn Tennis Club has been in the town since the mid 1920’s, when it was based in what is now the Lido Park before moving to its current location in 1975. The new clubhouse was built in 2004 and since then the club has gone from strength to strength. 
 
We cater for all ages and standard of player, have a very strong social set up, and run a number of teams to cater for those who want a more competitive edge. We currently have eight tennis courts, half of which have floodlights for all year round use. All of the courts have been resurfaced in the last five years with an artificial all weather surface.
 
Our Swiss chalet style clubhouse boasts modern changing facilities complete with showers, fitted kitchen and central heating for the winter months. A bar facility is also available for the many social events we have throughout the year.
 
The development of the club was recognised in 2014 when it was voted “Club of the Year” across the whole of Hereford & Worcestershire. In 2015 this was followed with the award of “Junior Programme of the Year” recognising the standard of coaching and opportunities for youngsters to play at the club and once again as "Club of the Year" in 2016 and in 2017 was highly commended by the LTA for its efforts in making tennis an inclusive sport.
